Available from Hunter Douglas authorized dealers, this new system combines a Silhouette shading in front with a room darkening roller shade in the back on a single headrail. It’s a great window covering solution for your bedroom, media room, or anywhere where you want ultimate control over light and privacy without sacrificing style. In the Back – Roller Shade
With the A Deux system, a high quality Hunter Douglas roller shade shares a headrail cassette with a Silhouette shade. With the roller shade in the back, you can enjoy complete room darkening when you want it — perfect for media rooms and bedrooms. Roller shades also protect your furniture, flooring and artwork from fading with at least 75% protection from harmful UV rays.
In the Front – Silhouette Shade
On the room-facing side of the A Deux system is the beautiful Silhouette shade. The vanes of Silhouette® window shades magically float between two sheers. Simply tilt the vanes to achieve your desired level of light and privacy. With no cords or tapes, the sheer facings allow you to view through the vanes to the outside, while maintaining a discreet level of privacy. The sheers soften sunlight to create warmth without too much brightness. Choose from 2” and 3” vane Silhouette fabrics, including Alustra products, to be paired with a room-darkening roller shade option. Silhouette shades are available in a wide variety of colors and fabrics.
Operating the New A Deux System
With the A Deux system, you have several options for operating your shades. Use the same operating system front and back, or mix and match with one operating system on the roller shade and one operating system on the Silhouette. Choose from EasyRise, LiteRise, or PowerRise.
